โรงเรียนยุพราชวิทยาลัย ได้รับการคัดเลือก Best Practice นวัตกรรมที่โดดเด่นด้านการคิดวิเคราะห์และใช้ความรู้ในสถานการณ์จริง (Problem-based Learning) เป็นฐาน ภายใต้โครงการการขับเคลื่อนโรงเรียนนำร่องพื้นที่นวัตกรรมต่อยอดสู่ “การเรียนรู้แบบบูรณาการ...สู่การสร้างสมรรถนะ และความฉลาดรู้" ด้วยการเรียนรู้บูรณาการบริบททางการเรียนรู้ เพื่อเป็นต้นแบบการจัดการเรียนรู้ สพฐ. โดยมีเป้าหมายขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาสมรรถนะของผู้เรียน ตามแนวทางการประเมิน PISA ในระยะยาวกับนักเรียนทุกระดับชั้น

โดยสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษาจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ได้รับการคัดเลือกจำนวน 4 นวัตกรรมจาก 4 โรงเรียนได้แก่

- โรงเรียนยุพราชวิทยาลัย

- โรงเรียนสันกำแพง

- โรงเรียนสันป่าตองวิทยาคม

- โรงเรียนเชียงดาววิทยาคม

โดยได้รับงบประมาณสนับสนุนการพัฒนานวัตกรรม

และมีการประชุมชี้แจงผลการขับเคลื่อนในช่วงเดือนสิงหาคม 2568 โดยมีคณะครูแกนนำ PISA และคณะครูพื้นที่นวัตกรรมในการขับเคลื่อนได้แก่ คุณครูสุรชัย/ คุณครูรุ่งอรุณ/ คุณครูณัฐญา/ คุณครูกุลวรรธน์/ คุณครูมณีรัตน์/ คุณครูสายใย/ คุณครูธีรัช/ คุณครูมงคล และคณะครูผู้จัดการเรียนรู้รายวิชา IS ในการพัฒนากิจกรรม

Yupparaj Wittayalai School has been selected as a Best Practice school for its outstanding innovation in analytical thinking and applying knowledge in real-life situations (Problem-based Learning).

This recognition is part of the project “Driving Innovative Pilot Schools Towards Integrated Learning… for Competency Development and Literacy,” which promotes integrated learning in authentic contexts to serve as a model for instructional management under the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC).

The project aims to develop students’ competencies in line with long-term PISA-oriented assessment approaches for learners at all grade levels.

The Chiang Mai Secondary Educational Service Area Office selected four innovations from four schools:

- Yupparaj Wittayalai School

- Sankampaeng School

- Sanpatong Wittayakom School

- Chiang Dao Wittayakom School

These schools received budgetary support for innovation development. A progress briefing meeting was held in August 2025, attended by PISA lead teachers and innovation area representatives, including Teachers Surachai, Rungaroon, Natthaya, Kulwat, Maneerat, Saiai, Teerach, and Mongkol, together with IS subject teachers, to develop learning activities focusing on:
